He holds Ph.D. in Economics awarded by the University of Economics in Katowice, the Accounting Department. He started his professional career at an international audit firm. He participated in numerous projects, including the ones involving audit of financial statements, also of listed companies, restatement of financial statements in line with IAS/IFRS and HGB, preparation of due diligence analyses, and valuation of enterprises. He boasts vast experience in the International Accounting Standards area. Currently, he manages the UHY ECA Group.

Author of a number of articles on audit and financial reporting, respected lecturer of accounting. Author and co-author of handbooks about the Polish and international standards of accounting, including:
